Wherever You Want To Go, Take Your Quingo
Today we are asking the question, “Just which is the best all-terrain mobility scooter in the UK?”
All of our five-wheel scooters are extremely stable and can be used in environments you may have not thought they would be suited to.
The stability, agility, safety and comfort shared by the entire range, thanks to our Quintell™ technologies make them surprisingly capable in a range of terrains. Our Tri-wheel steering will remain light and responsive in any given situation.
In the UK few of us live on, or near, ground that warrants the use of an all-terrain mobility scooter. Most of the places you will wish to visit have clearly defined paths and reasonably even surfaces for your scooter to travel on.
This being said, as you travel up the Quingo range, the higher power motors, and bigger batteries that offer extended ranges will take you further afield. Therefore, you won’t have to rule out bigger and bumpier adventures.
Many of you will be thinking you need an all-terrain mobility scooter for daily tasks such as walking your dog. The answer to this is probably not.
Mostly, when we walk our pets, we will stick to the path while our dogs zoom around sniffing and playing. It is the dog that is “off-road”, not you.
All of our customers will vouch for how well the quingo scooters cope off-road, here is an example from Mr Cook…
“It’s great; absolutely fine. I am doing pretty much the same journey every time and it copes with the uneven paths well. I don’t get shaken about too much. And my dog likes it; running alongside me means he gets a good workout too.”
When it comes to outdoor activity most of you will be using your mobility scooters to visit beauty spots and places of interest.
These, by their very nature, will have accessible pathways in place, they have to by law.
You may use your scooter on a variety of terrains, so you may have different preferences for your scooter’s suspension. Due to the adjustable suspension of our class 3 scooters, you can make it a harder or softer ride. Specifically, the Quingo Toura2 comes with a unique long-travel suspension system to the rear of the vehicle that is adjustable so you can get a softer or harder ride by adjusting the settings. This is adjustable to your weight and wishes for optional suspension and comfort.
Additionally, our Quingo scooters are very manoeuvrable which is another feature that helps them when being used on uneven terrain. Quingo is the only scooter that provides a 5-wheel stability system. This enhanced design feature allows Quingo scooters to use far less space when making a tight turn – without fear of tipping or falling, all whilst allowing enhanced control when negotiating dips and bumps.
Visit The National Trust On A Quingo
At Quingo we believe that the national trust is a great place to visit on your mobility scooter, there are more than 200 gardens and parks to visit over the country so it’s more than likely that there will be a venue local to you.
“The scooter is fine and I am very pleased with it. I was able to take it on holiday with me recently to Westward Ho! Where there is a lovely clifftop pathway. I was able to use my scooter all the way along the path and I wanted to go further but my husband was starting to puff a bit so I turned around. On the way back I let him use the scooter and he loved it.”
